Orchid Show
This Sunday I was looking for an outside activity to enjoy the warm sunny weather. I hadn’t been to Cheekwood in a while and was delighted to see that they were having an orchid show. I’m going to give another go at growing a Paphiopedilum Pinocchio, which I was told was one of the easier orchids to grow and blossoms often. Very Nice photos. I hope the orchid is easier to grow than it is to say (the genus name anyway). And uh..why is it called “Pinocchio”. Or maybe I don’t want to know….

Yeah, I’m not sure I want to know the origin of the name either
